Professor Danny Sutanto Been Invited to Be the Guest Editor of Special Issue on Smart Grid

   Professor D. Sutanto, the Editorial Committee Member of JEST (International), recently has been invited to be the Guest Editor of Special Issue on Smart Grid, which will be published in March 2011 by JEST (International).
   Invited by Dr. Jason Z. Kang, Executive Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Sutanto visited JEST (International) on November 10, 2009. The central topic of this meeting concerned the special issue which was suggested in their last meeting in September 2009. After a mind exchange, Prof. Sutanto and Dr. Kang arrived at an agreement on the subject, publishing time, and contribution invitation of the special issue. They also talked about the rules and effects of academic journals in knowledge innovation system and the further promotion of JEST (International) in worldwide.

Brief Introduction to Professor D. Sutanto:

   Danny Sutanto received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Western Australia in 1981. From 1982 to 1995, he worked with University of New South Wales. Afterwards, He joined the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Wollongong as the Professor in 1996 and 2006, respectively. His main areas of research are power system analysis, power system economics, energy storage technology power system expansion planning, etc. He has published over 170 papers in total.
   Prof. Sutanto has been invited to be the members of International Advisory Board for several international conferences. He is also a member of the International Editorial Advisory panel of the International Journal “Electric Power Systems Research”.
